Most agencies stop caring once the design is signed off. We are a website development company in South Africa that treats the build as the job — fast, properly structured, and yours to edit afterwards.
Page builders are fine for layout and terrible for performance. We use Elementor for the sections you will want to edit yourself, and write the rest by hand — so the page ships with the markup it needs and nothing else.
We test on a throttled mobile connection before handover and we do not go live until the numbers land here. If a build cannot hit them, we tell you why rather than quietly shipping it.
Lighthouse, mobile profile — 4× CPU throttle on Slow 4G, the same test Google runs.
Six jobs cover nearly everything that lands in the inbox. Most projects are one of these, or two of them stitched together.
A site built on WordPress because you will still be able to edit it in three years without calling us. No proprietary lock-in.
Editable sections where you need them, hand-written markup where speed matters. You get both instead of choosing.
Product pages, local payment gateways and delivery rules, set up so the checkout does not lose people halfway through.
An existing site that takes eight seconds to load. We find what is actually causing it and strip that out, rather than bolting on another plugin.
Moving hosts or platforms with redirects mapped properly, so the rankings you already have survive the move.
Forms that reach the right inbox, bookings that sync to a calendar, and the CRM or accounting tool you already pay for.

Six layers, the same on every project. Pick one to see what it means and why it is there.
Published, because you should not have to sit through a call to find out what a build costs.

Talk through a custom buildAnywhere from R5,000 for a template job to well past R150,000 for a large custom build. Ours start at R4,500 for a one-page site, R10,000 for a five-page Starter site and R25,000 for custom work. What moves the number is how much is genuinely built for you rather than assembled from a theme that already existed, so ask any website development company you speak to exactly what is being written and what is being bought in.
Design decides what the site looks like and how someone moves through it. Development is the part that makes it real — the markup, the styling, the speed, the forms, the bit that has to work on a six-year-old Android on a bad connection. We do both, but they are separate skills and plenty of agencies are only good at one.
Because you can edit it yourself and hire anyone to work on it later. A fully custom site can be faster on paper, but it ties you to whoever wrote it. For most businesses that trade-off is not worth it. If your project genuinely needs custom, we will say so.
It can, when a whole site is dragged together out of nested widgets. Used deliberately it is fine. We keep Elementor for the sections you will want to change yourself and hand-write the heavy parts, then test the result on a throttled mobile connection rather than assuming.
Five working days for a one-pager and ten for a Starter build, once your content is ready. Custom projects run four to eight weeks depending on pages and integrations. The slowest part of almost every project is waiting on copy and photographs, so having those ready is the single biggest thing you can do to speed it up.
You do — domain, hosting, analytics and the files. We hand over the logins at launch. There is no arrangement where we hold the keys and you rent your own website back from us.
Often, yes. We audit what is actually causing the delay first — usually oversized images, a stack of plugins doing one job each, or a theme loading fonts nobody uses. If the foundation is sound we fix it. If it is a mess underneath we will tell you that a rebuild is cheaper than propping it up.
If you want it, as a separate arrangement — updates, backups and a check that nothing broke. It is never a requirement. Plenty of clients handle their own updates and only call when they want something new built.

A new site, a rebuild, or something slow that needs rescuing. We will tell you honestly which one it is and what it would cost — and if you do not need a website development company at all, we will say that too. A reply inside two working days.
No newsletter, no follow-up sequence. One reply from a person, inside two working days.
